NerveCenter ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We May Collect Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication data if you create an account or sign in.
Symptom Logs: Health-related notes, entries, metrics, and any information you choose to record.
App Usage Data: Device type, time zone, crash logs, diagnostic events, and interaction patterns collected for analytics and performance.
AI Chats: Messages you send to the in-app Symptom Analysis Agent. These are processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google) solely to generate responses. We do not sell or use AI chat content for advertising.
Payment Data: Payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other third-party providers. We do not store payment card details.
Analytics: We may use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app performance and improve stability. These tools do not include your individual symptom log content.

2. How We Use Your Information Provide, maintain, and improve the App
Generate symptom insights and AI chat responses
Personalize your user experience and app features
Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
Ensure security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations
Develop aggregated, de-identified insights and usage statistics to improve features and explore commercial opportunities

These insights never include personal identifiers or information that can reasonably be used to identify you.

3. Data Storage & Security All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (U.S.-based servers) using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Access is limited to authorized personnel. However, no system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

4. Data Sharing We never sell personal information.

We may share or license de-identified or aggregated data—data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you—for operational or commercial purposes.

We may also share limited information with:
AI Providers: OpenAI, Google, or similar services solely for generating responses to your messages
Firebase / Google: Hosting, authentication, crash diagnostics, and analytics
Third-party service providers required to operate the App
Law enforcement or authorities when legally required

5. Your Choices Delete Your Data:
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App's Privacy and Legal section. Once deleted, your information cannot be recovered.

Stop Using the App:
If you no longer wish us to retain your information, you may delete your account or discontinue use.

6. Children's Privacy NerveCenter is not intended for users under 13 years old.

Users under the age required by local law must have permission from a parent or guardian.

Parents may contact us to request the deletion of any information believed to have been provided by a minor.

7. International Use The App is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., you consent to the processing and storage of your data in the United States in accordance with this Policy.

8. HIPAA Notice NerveCenter is not a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate.

The App is designed for personal wellness tracking and is not intended for diagnosis or medical treatment.

We still apply reasonable security measures to safeguard all information you provide.

9. Changes to This Policy We may update this Policy periodically. If changes are material, we will provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
